Fall Dryland Training
FreeRide (FR) dryland focuses on improving core muscle development, flexibility, freestyle mechanics that include park and pipe specific movements. Better physical tone, flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning result in greater resistance to injury while being able to ride harder and longer.
Weekday Sessions: A once a week, after school, dryland session that focuses on core strength, flexibility, and jib training. A flexibility and core workout session will be followed by dry slope jib practice. A dry slope is a ski ramp without snow that allows athletes to improve existing and try out new rail and box maneuvers. Video analysis will be used to help athletes improve and refine new and existing tricks.
When: Every Tuesday, 4PM-6PM. Starts November 5th – December 17th
Where: 1799 Markham Rd, Corey Roesele’s farm. A bus from Hood River’s middle school can provide transportation to dryland. Bus drops off at house around 3:45PM.
What to Bring: Tennis shoes, water, snack, workout clothes, boots/skis/poles, and helmet. Elbow/knee pads and mouth guard are recommended.
Cost: $165. Includes all coaching for weekday and Saturday Windells’ sessions, video analysis, and transportation to Windells. Does not include Windell’s entry fee ($10). Registration and payment must be received prior to participating.
Saturday Windells Sessions: Three Saturday sessions at Windells. Utilizing Windell’s foam pit and trampoline setups the sessions will focus on aerial movements such as back-flip, front-flip, Lincoln loops, rodeo flips, misty flips, 360, 540, 720, cork spins, grabs, improved air awareness and fun! The goal of these sessions is for athletes to improve their air awareness, learn new tricks, as well as getting a good cardio-core workout. Video analysis included. Two of three sessions are required for athletes who intend to perform inverts on snow for the 2013/2014 CSRT season. CSRT FR Team members and fall dryland participants will be given preference.
When: Saturday 10:30 AM-4:30PM

Where: Windell in Sandy Oregon. The CSRT Van will leave Starbucks in Hood River at 10:30AM and return to Hood River at 4:30pm. Van space is limited to 13 athletes per session. RSVP to email@example.com.
Cost: $55 per session for athletes not enrolled in FR Fall Dryland program. Cost includes transportation, coaching, and video analysis.
What to bring: Entry Fee ($10), Windells’ release, roller blades, tennis shoes, water, lunch, workout clothes, and helmet. Skateboard, Elbow/Knee pads and mouth guard are recommended. Registration and payment must be received prior to participating.
